December 11, 2022

INTRODUCTION
What’s the song of the season you are in?
God wants to bring us a song of joy in the season we are in

KEY POINT: the character of our hope is found in the promise of our Savior

TEXT: Luke 1:26-33
A story of hope: reminder that God is at work, he is moving in our lives to bring about his purpose

· A hope that meets us in time
God is working in our days
Eccl. 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time”

· A hope that shows up in unexpected places
Being stuck in obscurity: God knows that place

· A hope that works through unlikely people
God uses unlikely people to accomplish his purpose

· A hope that is accomplished in unexpected ways
In two directions: the extraordinary and the ordinary
The hope of God unfolds through the little things more often rather than the big things

· A hope that is for our salvation
Message of hope and restoration

Celebrating the Hope of Jesus

1. Hold onto the Promise
My problems are passing away but my Savior reigns forever

2. Partner with what God is doing
Not always sure how but I know who will help: the Holy Spirit

3. Allow God’s grace to change our song
No matter what season we are in, allowing his hope to change our song!

RESPONSE: Lord, may the hope of your grace change my song!
